Hello! I have never blogged before, but I think this is a good idea for EHS.
Are there any photos available for your webpage from the summer event at Falk?

Thanks for the response.
I will have some photos up on the website as soon as possible.
Check back.

I was wondering if EHS has any news about the book, or booklet, compiled by Gretchen Howard documenting hisoric doors of the houses in Eureka. I would love to have a copy of this if it is available.

Greetings Eileen,
EHS doesn’t have anything RE: the Historic Doors project.
Probaby best to contact Gretchen Howard or Janie Walsh directly.
If you need contact info for them, I can email it to you (rather than post it here).

I am still very rough at trying to make this thing work, but I will keep at it. Kind of like learning to drive a stick shift. I just found out how to see your responses!
I will pursue more information about The Historic Door Project (now that I know what it is really titled) and ask for your contact help if I get frustrated. I have attended a few Historic Preservation Commission meetings and I always learn something new. I will try to wiggle my schedule to show up at the Oct. meeting and ask about the project.
Thank you for your efforts here. My interest in EHS is perking up again. And I’ve noticed more blogs about Historic Preservation.
Looking forward to the Home Tour (I’ve never actually been able to attend in the past).
Eileen
