I am from Australia and in our local second hand store I have purchased a framed Lithograph of Carson House, hand painted and signed by Curt Humphrey. It is reproduction no. 269 of 500.
I purchased it for the frame. I was wondering if any of your members would like to have it as I can post over and they cover the cost.
Let me know and I am very pleased that I searched the web before taking this picture apart
Have a great week from the Land Down Under

Awesome summer event. Jon Humboldt Gates was an entertaining speaker and the weather cooperated to make the presentation and the short walk to the locomotive barn a pleasant outdoor summer experience.

Wonderful photos of the Falk summer event. I especially enjoy seeing details of the huge barn. What a project! The display board looks like a wealth of interesting information.
Photos of the buildings for the upcoming Home Tour are beautiful. And it is a nice incentive to the budget-minded that the tour this year is not too geographically spread out.

I am still very rough at trying to make this thing work, but I will keep at it. Kind of like learning to drive a stick shift. I just found out how to see your responses!
I will pursue more information about The Historic Door Project (now that I know what it is really titled) and ask for your contact help if I get frustrated. I have attended a few Historic Preservation Commission meetings and I always learn something new. I will try to wiggle my schedule to show up at the Oct. meeting and ask about the project.
Thank you for your efforts here. My interest in EHS is perking up again. And I've noticed more blogs about Historic Preservation.
Looking forward to the Home Tour (I've never actually been able to attend in the past).

Greetings Eileen,
EHS doesn't have anything RE: the Historic Doors project.
Probaby best to contact Gretchen Howard or Janie Walsh directly.
If you need contact info for them, I can email it to you (rather than post it here).

I was wondering if EHS has any news about the book, or booklet, compiled by Gretchen Howard documenting hisoric doors of the houses in Eureka. I would love to have a copy of this if it is available.

Hello! I have never blogged before, but I think this is a good idea for EHS.
Are there any photos available for your webpage from the summer event at Falk?
